Am I the only one?

I am beyond excited!  For, what seemed like, the longest time, I have been wanting the Red Copper pans.  I am not the best of cooks, but if I don't have someone asking me when dinner is going to be ready (hint hint...my kids and hubby) I do enjoy cooking.  The infomercials for this product had me hooked, but buying new pans was just not in the budget. Then...Christmas came along and I got a gift card to Kohls.  My hubby did as well and you know that means?  I got TWO gift cards to Kohls!! Hey! I used it for "house" stuff so in reality we both get to enjoy the "fruits" of having new pans.

I was only able to get two of them, but that is enough to make my heart sing! I purchased a square one and a round one.  It was definitely a happy moment.  So far the last 3 times I've cooked, they have been happy moments.   Easy to cook in, no stick, easy to clean.  I'm in awe and shooketh (if my teenager sees this she will be so embarrassed).  They have only used them 3 times, but that to me is good enough.

I'm sooo excited...and I just can't hide it...  <--- click="" hear="" it="" nbsp="" on="" song="" span="" the="" to="">

So all this excitement had me thinking... am I the only one that gets excited about getting house "stuff".  For me, it's mainly pots/pans and knives.  I feel like anytime I get those I feel like I'm splurging and I feel spoiled.

Tell me I'm not the only one that likes getting house "stuff".  It really does make home life easier when you have the right tools.  That's a good reason, right?

Ok well I will post an update in about a week to see how they are holding up.  In the meantime, I will do a happy dance every time I use my new pans.

Changes...

It is the time of the year for changes.

I definitely have many things I will be changing, but one thing I will start now is my "face cleaning routine".  I have a very bad habit of not removing my make up before I go to sleep. Some times it includes face paint. Ugh!

Very bad. I know.  I am going to change that.  I dislike the feeling of having all the stuff plastered on me the next day. That also changes the mood for the following day.  It just puts it into a lazy mood kinda day.

I just started last night.  Very recent, but I'm motivated.  I got home after 10pm and went straight to start my new face cleaning routine.

Which is:
 ✅ Remove my false lashes
✅Rub on some cold cream make-up remover. Remove it all with a wet (warm) towel.
✅Use the daily scrub to clear out the pores.
✅ Rinse it all off.  Pat it dry.
✅Add some lotion to moisturize my face.
💟And voila! All done with that.
Just brushed my teeth and went to sleep.

I will most likely end up upgrading some of the items I use to clean my face, but for now these items do the trick.

I truly woke up feeling refreshed.  I will now work on my morning face cleaning routine. Hoping that with these new changes, my day will be headed towards a productive one.

It is time to feel beautiful.

Light Bulb Moment

I'm excited to say that I have gone shopping at Sephora and found an amazing product that was missing from my life.

I didn't know it actually existed until about two weeks ago.  I was doing my YouTube browsing and came upon a video that has some tips on how to put on lipstick.  You would think that its as easy as just swiping it on, but it isn't.  See putting on make-up is a type of art.  That is why they are called make-up artist.  Actually I don't know if that is the real reason, but it totally makes sense.

This video by Leyla Rose give tips of what to do and not do so you can have your lipstick look flawless. Sadly, I learned that I do a lot of the "don'ts"  I also learned that I need to exfoliate my lips! That is the main thing that was a "light bulb" moment for me. I have super dry lips and they peel frequently. It's so bad. So when I put on lipstick..it looks crusty. I usually end up sticking to chapstick and even that makes my lips still look crusty.

I was one lucky girl this Christmas and was gifted a Sephora gift card! I won't say how much, but was plenty to get me a lip scrub and an eyeliner. (That is another video I need to browse for )

This is my new buddy....
GlamGlow PoutMud

I have been sharing it with XiXi and she is also enjoying using it.  We both have the same lip issues. I am in awe with this exfoliater.  It has left my lips so smooth.  They don't peel as often.  They still peel, but it is such a huge difference that the little bit that they do...it's just borderline non existent.

I'm over the moon with this.  If you "suffer" from dry lips I recommend this product.  In the few days that I have used it, it has changed how my lips look and feel.

Now next is to learn how to do a nice crisp winged eyeliner.  Not only do I have wrinkled lips...I also have wrinkled eye lids.

Happy New Year!

I hope you have an amazing 2018. That all your goals are met.

Goals...not resolutions.  Resolutions has become a false word.  It is said, but it is used with the expectation of not fulfilling it.

My goal for this year is to interact with people that I love.  To be in some kind of communication with them.  To let them know how much they mean to me.  I want this year to be full of love.

I do believe love changes people.

So this is not an order...it's just a suggestion said like an order...GO and show your love!

Ciao/Adios,
