Light Bulb Moment

I'm excited to say that I have gone shopping at Sephora and found an amazing product that was missing from my life.

I didn't know it actually existed until about two weeks ago.  I was doing my YouTube browsing and came upon a video that has some tips on how to put on lipstick.  You would think that its as easy as just swiping it on, but it isn't.  See putting on make-up is a type of art.  That is why they are called make-up artist.  Actually I don't know if that is the real reason, but it totally makes sense.

This video by Leyla Rose give tips of what to do and not do so you can have your lipstick look flawless. Sadly, I learned that I do a lot of the "don'ts"  I also learned that I need to exfoliate my lips! That is the main thing that was a "light bulb" moment for me. I have super dry lips and they peel frequently. It's so bad. So when I put on lipstick..it looks crusty. I usually end up sticking to chapstick and even that makes my lips still look crusty.

I was one lucky girl this Christmas and was gifted a Sephora gift card! I won't say how much, but was plenty to get me a lip scrub and an eyeliner. (That is another video I need to browse for )

This is my new buddy....
GlamGlow PoutMud

I have been sharing it with XiXi and she is also enjoying using it.  We both have the same lip issues. I am in awe with this exfoliater.  It has left my lips so smooth.  They don't peel as often.  They still peel, but it is such a huge difference that the little bit that they do...it's just borderline non existent.

I'm over the moon with this.  If you "suffer" from dry lips I recommend this product.  In the few days that I have used it, it has changed how my lips look and feel.

Now next is to learn how to do a nice crisp winged eyeliner.  Not only do I have wrinkled lips...I also have wrinkled eye lids.

Thank you for reading!
